How to get an NDIS Partner?

The NDIS can help you connect with a NDIS provider, which can help you create a Community Connection Plan. Even If you are not eligible for the NDIS, you can still create a community connection plan.

🙋‍♀️If you are over the age of 9, The NDIS will put you in contact with your local area coordinator.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If you, or the person you are looking after is under the age of 9, they will be put in contact with an early childhood partner.

If you don’t live in an area with an NDIS partner, The NDIS will refer you to a person at the NDIA.

Community connections are all about helping you find the supports you need in your local community. These are called mainstream and community supports .

🌐Mainstream supports are the supports from other government funded services, like health, mental health and education.
