Kith and Kin can provide services to all eligible Australian veterans with no out-of-pocket costs. If you need help maintaining your home or to access the community, we support you to stay safe, independent, and comfortable. We provide vetted staff and all equipment required to maintain your home.

What is the DVA Program?

The DVA Program is managed by Department of Veterans’ affairs and provides support services to eligible Veterans and their families.

DVA Eligibility

  • Hold a DVA Gold, White or Orange Card
  • Are a Veteran or war widow
  • Live in Australia

How is the cost of Veterans Home Care covered?

Our services incur NO out of pocket expense to you. Co-payments apply through the DVA Program and we DO NOT charge any extra for services. All services and fees are agreed upon prior to commencing.

We will provide you with friendly, reliable and trustworthy staff with a full police clearance. Our staff follow all safety procedures to ensure the best quality supports are provided.

Our services include Domestic Assistance, Meal Preparation, Garden Maintenance and Accessing the Community.

Washing and Ironing

Support with washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothing and household linen.

Meal Preparation

Meal prep and cooking assistance to support daily nutrition and independence.

Garden Maintenance

Lawn mowing, pruning, green waste removal, and general garden maintenance.

Access your Community

Support to access your community to complete daily tasks such as shopping, attending appointments or enjoying a visit to the beach

Domestic Assistance

Regular and one-off cleaning assistance to help maintain a safe, comfortable home.
