✨ About the Role
As our Art, Craft & Sewing Facilitator, you will work alongside our participants to explore their creativity and develop fun and meaningful projects.
This isn’t just about running a craft class — we’re looking for someone who can listen to our participants, brainstorm ideas with them and help turn their ideas into something they can be proud of.
You may be helping participants create sewing projects, explore new craft techniques, work on artwork or develop completely new ideas together.
You’ll provide guidance and hands-on support while encouraging participants to be as independent and involved in their projects as possible.
🧵 What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas
- Confident using a sewing machine
- Experienced or skilled in sewing
- Able to brainstorm and develop new art, craft and sewing activities
- Patient, encouraging and willing to work at the participant’s pace
- Confident working alongside people with disability
- Organised and able to prepare materials and activities
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Demonstrated sewing skills and confidence using a sewing machine are essential for this position.

Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 3:00pm
